Prayer of Spiritual Communion
Lord Jesus, I believe that you are present in the Holy Sacrament of the altar. I love you above all things, and I passionately desire to receive you into my soul. Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, come spiritually into my Heart, so that I may unite myself wholly to you, now and forever. Amen

PAUSE, PRAY, REFLECT – LENTEN REFLECTIONS

This Sunday’s Lenten reflection comes from Patty Morley, a parishioner of St Bernadette’s
Day 14: In this piece of scripture, God tells us that if we are obedient to his word then we shall eat the good things in this world. It can be difficult sometimes to follow God’s teachings, we are not all perfect. Spend some time today to turn to God and start again for God is the God of forgiveness and nothing will stop him from ever loving you.
CTKS LENT TALKS
Week 2
The second of the Churches Together in Keynsham and Saltford Lent Talks, featuring Chris Williams, the pastor of One Church, will be available from Tuesday 2nd March at 7.30pm
LENT READING GROUP
Fancy doing something a little different this Lent?
Fr Matt will be running a Lent reading group, using a book which he has found very inspiring (see left). The group will meet for 60-90 minutes over six Wednesdays in Lent at 7pm for discussion via Zoom, reading a chapter or 2 each week.
If you would like to be involved, send Fr Matt a quick email bristol.stbernadette@cliftondiocese.com and he’ll give you the details of how to get the book and the Zoom link etc.
“There are few Biblical scholars who can convey the sheer excitement of Christianity more than Brant Pitre.” – Bishop Robert Barron, author and presenter of ‘Catholicism’
